Fireside Resort: A Unique Glamping Experience in Jackson Hole

Seeking an unforgettable luxury experience in Jackson Hole, Wyoming? Fireside Resort is a perfectly appointed glamping haven in the center of everything this famed resort community has to offer.

I had never been “glamping” before, and, admittedly, was not entirely sure what to expect. An upscale traveler at heart, my son and I booked our stay with Fireside Resort via Glamping Hub, their booking partner, and were ultimately excited to experience the summer in the Teton Valley with a stay at this special accommodation.

There is a warmth as you enter the grounds of the quaint and cozy tiny houses of Fireside Resort. 25 separate homes line this welcoming wooded hideaway, complete with glowing stringed lights and manicured flower boxes. This authenticity, coupled with that peaceful of feeling being in the wilderness, lingered with us throughout our stay.

Entering our tiny home away from home, I first notice the modern amenities: flat-screen televisions in both the living room and bedroom, electric fireplace (which took the slight chill off the early morning air), and state-of-the-art kitchen appliances. The carefully crafted wood-paneled floors and contemporary finishing reminded me to enjoy our luxe vacation, while the large sky lights allowed for just the right amount of natural sunlight to access our indoor oasis.

Looking for more ways to be pampered? Each home offers a rain shower with powerful jets, a selection of fine toiletries, and fluffy towels.

Looking to get back to nature? Enjoy your home’s own private campfire, make some s’mores (everything you need is available at the resort’s store), and stargaze the evening away.

One of the unexpected surprises of Fireside Resort, is the fact that it is practically equidistant (we averaged five minutes per trip, depending on the traffic) to Jackson’s downtown hub and Teton Village, which surrounds the base of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.

  • Explore downtown Jackson. Shop, eat, stroll, and enjoy the bustle of this historic town center. Kids will especially love to play and explore at Teton Toys.
  • Snow King Resort’s Treetop Adventure. There are seven courses for adults and kids alike to “harness up, clip in, and safely ride zip lines, shimmy over suspended bridges, scramble up nets, cross swinging logs, and even ride an aerial skateboard.” Allow at least two hours to fully enjoy your adventure.

  • Ride the Jackson Hole Resort Aerial Tram. Enjoy jaw dropping 360-degree views of the Tetons, and Jackson Hole Valley with a 12 minute and 139 vertical feet ride to the top of the mountain.
  • Cocktail via Bridger Gondola. After a 9,095 ride up the mountain, indulge in a beverage on the deck at Piste while taking in the valley view.

Another wonderful amenity at Fireside Resort was our ability to cook a meal or a snack both indoors or outdoors. The tiny kitchen is just right if your idea of a perfect vacation is breakfast in bed. While the outdoor barbecue, not to be confused with your s’more crafting fire pit, is the ideal place to prepare a relaxing dinner at home.

Will we go glamping again? Absolutely. Fireside Resort has successfully converted both of us into proud glampers. Next visit we’ll have to convert the dog too. Yes, Fireside Resort is also dog-friendly!
