Gran Hotel Domine's New Sixty-One

Foraster Architects has conceived in Sixty-One in Bilbao, Spain different environments that correspond with different atmospheres that adapt to guest's needs and moods. As you enter, you encounter a space presided over by a spectacular 4.20-meter marble table conceived as a work and leisure area. There are different atmospheres with large tables and sofas, next to a cozy space with a fireplace ideal for those who want to enjoy a moment of relaxation in privacy. An open bar design stands out in its interior, where you can savor one of the magnificent cocktails offered or a great gathering space for guests and locals alike.

In order to achieve this timeless space, the contrast between materials and colors has been sought in a very subtle way. The stainless steel coexists with the leather and pastel tones of the upholstery fused with metals. The walls are covered with wallpaper and canvas and the ceiling includes a geometric drawing inspired by the work of Mondrian.

In addition, Sixty-One pays tribute to the colorful and amusing work of designer Javier Mariscal - author of the original hotel project and of the former Splash & Crash Bar – where walls and shelves are decorated with his paintings and drawings.

In addition to the cafeteria and cocktail service, Sixty-One offers various snacks and appetizers. Each dish is carefully elaborated following the culinary philosophy of Gran Hotel Domine, where high-quality prime material and a carefully prepared gastronomy is primordial, carried out by an excellent team of professionals led by Executive Chef Abel Corral.
