Park City, Utah
In the late 1860s, prospectors who mined for silver founded Park City, Utah. Then, in 1963, Park City Consolidated Mines built the first ski lifts on what known as Treasure Mountain. Today, Park City, Utah has three world-class resorts: Park City Mountain Resort, Deer Valley Resort, and the Canyons Resort, and even served as host for the 2002 Olympic Winter Games.
